Saule, Skincare lab, Porto
Saule A quiet identity for a skincare lab that refuses to shout: one soft lettermark, a warm white and packaging that reads like a lab note.
Okto, Software company, Berlin
Okto Okto builds scheduling software for clinics. We renamed the product line, drew an eight-sided mark and carried it into a website and a calm UI kit.
Fieldnote Press, Independent publisher, Bristol
Fieldnote Press A small press for nature writing. A lettermark that sits on a spine in six millimetres, a cover grid and stationery printed on recycled board.
Orto Tea, Tea shop, Lisbon
Orto Tea Two friends, one tiny shop and forty teas. A system of pouches, cups and bags where the only thing that changes is one letter and one colour.

I'm a brand designer and art director with fourteen years of type, ink and screens.

  1. Identity and art direction for founders and small teams. Usually two to four projects a year, start to finish, with a small group of developers and photographers I trust.

  2. Led a team of six on brand and product design. Rebuilt the type system, ran the move to one shared component library and hired four designers.

  3. Campaigns and packaging for food and drink brands. Directed twelve shoots and learned to say no to a fifth colour.

  4. Set type by hand, printed wedding invitations and business cards, and found out why every gram of weight in a letter matters.
